Yes, Auchenshuggle - Achadh an t-Seagail - Gaelic for the Rye Field.

 

The rye fields have gone and the No.9 tramcar, but we still have the Auchenshuggle Woods at the side of the River Clyde and the beautiful, award winning Tollcross Park.

 

The Tollcross Park Leisure Centre will be one of the sites for the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
