Garthamlock and Craigend is an area as far North and East as it is possible to get in Glasgow. the area has seen a massive regeneration programme with the Fort Shopping Centre being built at Junction 10 and Persimmon Homes building hundreds of new Detached, Semi-Detached and Terraced Housing as well as their new offices over recent months.
Garthamlock and Craigend has a distinct village feel caused in no part by being bordered by the M8 to the South. To the West we have Hogganfield Park and Loch, to the East we have farm land and more importantly the Northern Border has Cardown Moss Bio Diversity Nature Area and Frankfield Loch. All this contributes to a feeling of being in the country but with all the benefits of city living.
You have bus links taking you all over Glasgow and for Drivers you have the M8, M73, M74 and the A80 all within 5 minutes drive. Parking is never a problem and everything is on your doorstep.
As part of the regeneration two new state of the art Schools Avenue End and St Rose of Lima have also been built recently.
Wether you live here, work here or are looking to settle here it must be agreed it is a great place to be the future has never looked brighter for Garthamlock and Craigend.
