Welcome to Newlands and Auldhouse Community Council website. The Council meets on the first Monday of every month at 7.00pm at the Scout Hall, Mossgiel Road, Glasgow (except January, July and August). Its meetings are open to the public and are attended regularly by the Community Police and by local councillors, and on occasion by other Community bodies. You are welcome to attend.
At our meetings matters discussed include reported crimes, local issues, local initiatives and planning applications.

Newlands and Auldhouse Annual Charity Gala.
This year's 32nd annual gala took place in Newlands Park
on Saturday 27 August from 1pm to 4pm.

Auldhouse is the area to the west of Kilmarnock Road (the A77).
Newlands is the area to the east of the Kilmarnock Road. Part of this area has been designated the Newlands Conservation Area.
The Community Council area is bounded by the River Cart and Shawlands and Langside to the north; Cathcart to the east; Muirend and the city boundary at Giffnock to the south and Mansewood and the Auldhouse Burn and Pollokshaws to the east.
